Carlo Gavazzi TV
We recently started creating quick and informative product videos under the Carlo Gavazzi TV production umbrella. We’ve been sharing them on our various social media platforms (found at the bottom of this newsletter), feel free to ‘like’ or ‘share’ them.

Recently Released New Products
Over the course of the past several months, we have released a number of exciting new products!

The RGC3….48 Series of 3-phase SSRs have been very successful due to their recognition as one of the most compact 3-phase solutions on the market. To keep the dimensions compact, the existing RGC3 solutions at higher current ratings (above 40 AAC) utilize forced ventilation and hence require a supply voltage. The new 48 AAC rated 3-phase relay uses a larger, natural convection heat sink that eliminates the need for additional supply voltage if system monitoring is not required. The device can be panel-mounted inside of an electrical enclosure, or if a side-wall cutout is available, the heatsink portion of the relay can be mounted outside of the cabinet. Thru-wall mounting offers an additional benefit of keeping the heat generated during the operation of the SSRs outside of the enclosure, away from other sensitive electronic equipment.
With the introduction of the RGC..32, Carlo Gavazzi now offers a solution for switching up to 37 AAC at 40°C that fits in the 17.8mm wide platform with a depth of 103mm. The RGC..32 is offered both with screw as well as box clamp output terminals. The version with box clamps is rated 37 AAC @ Ta 40°C. This higher current rating on the 17.8mm compact platform is achieved through the utilization of a higher rated power chip that has an I²t of 18000 A²s. Due to this high I²t specification, the RGC..32 can be protected against short circuits by B curve Miniature Circuit Breakers, in applications where the UL508 SCCR rating is not required.
Two models, each offering choices of threshold ranges, allow users to find the right solution for their unique requirements. The DEA71 features fixed trip levels which offer time-saving installation, with a reliable tripping level and safety against tampering. The DEB71 provides ability to adjust trip levels and includes an adjustable time delay; a lockable front cover provides further tamper protection.

Pack Expo
In mid-October, CARLO GAVAZZI exhibited at Pack Expo, one of North America's premier packaging exhibitions, which was held at Chicago’s McCormick Place. Products showcased included our comprehensive range of solid state relays/contactors, proximity, photoelectric and ultrasonic sensors, power supplies, contactors/overloads, miniature circuit protectors, monitoring relays, timers, soft starters and energy meters. We also showcased two products to be released in the coming weeks: Inductive and Capacitive Proximity Sensors featuring IO Link, along with our Smart IO-Link Configurator.

Summer Newsletter Winner
