Over the course of the past several months we have released many exciting new products!

In February, we launched our new EM530 and EM540 Three Phase Energy Analyzers. These compact analyzers are an exciting new addition to our well-established range of energy meters and power analyzers which are targeted to assist manufacturers and end users in monitoring and managing escalating energy costs. The EM530 is a Class 0.5S (kWh) analyzer which measures currents up to 10,000A via 5A current transformers, and the EM540 is a Class 1 (kWh) analyzer which measures current up to 65A via direct connection, eliminating the need for current transformers. These 3-phase power analyzers can be used for two and three phase systems, as well as wild-leg systems. They can measure most relevant instantaneous electrical variables, energy consumption, and harmonic distortion
Both the EM530 and EM540 feature high speed 100 ms serial data refresh rates, making them ideal for load balancing, energy storage, or EV charging applications. Fast commissioning is possible thanks to an intuitive wizard setup menu, along with instant notification of wiring errors and suggestions for correcting them. The EM530 and EM540 are ideal for many Building and Industrial Automation applications, including cost sharing, energy analysis for energy efficiency, power metering for PV energy storage, and indoor or temperature-controlled EV charging. Their compact size makes them a perfect fit for any panel.
In January, we launched our new RPYS Series Electromechanical Plug-In Relays, with screw and push-in terminal sockets, and accessories that include busbars, retention clips, ID tags, and protection module. The slim, compact design of the RPYS is ideal for electronic and automation panels with limited space. Its 13mm wide footprint saves customers more than 30% of utilized space when compared to other industrial plug-in relays. Matching sockets are available in both screw and push-in terminals versions for quick and easy wiring as well as vibration resistant connections. Wiring is further simplified by interconnecting multiple relays and sockets by means of busbars

ATX West
In mid-April, CARLO GAVAZZI exhibited at ATX West in Anaheim, CA. It is the West Coast's premier industrial trade show. Products showcased included our Inductive/Capacitive Proximity and Photoelectric Sensors with IO-Link, as well as our comprehensive range of Solid State Relays, Soft Starters, Energy Meters, Monitoring Relays, and Timers.

EV Charging Infrastructure USA Conference & Expo
In mid-March, CARLO GAVAZZI exhibited at the EV Charging Infrastructure USA Conference & Expo in Garden Grove, CA. We showcased our Energy Metering Solutions and other product solutions, ideal for EV Charging Stations.

New Employees
In April, Mauro Dresti was appointed our Americas Product Line Manager for Controls. He has extensive experience in the defense, oil & gas and utilities industries. He specialized in EV charging infrastructure and smart metering solutions while working in the utility industry. Over the past decade, he has been a subject matter expert in transportation electrification, eMobility, smart grid, and energy efficiency for an electrical utility. Mauro will also be acting as Senior Director of Energy Efficiency for Carlo Gavazzi in the Americas.
Also in April, Doug Webb was appointed our Area Sales Manager for California, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho and Northern/Western Nevada. He has extensive experience in outside sales and serving industries on the West Coast. Most recently, Doug worked as an Account Manager for a distributor focused on industrial automation and robotic products.

Winter Newsletter Trivia Winner
