Promotion News
In November, Logan MacWebb was promoted to be our Switches Product Manager. Logan has been with Carlo Gavazzi for several years as an Area Sales Manager covering Michigan and Indiana. Congratulations to Logan!
New Employees
In late November, Sam Welch was appointed as our Key Account Manager covering Michigan and Indiana (besides NW Indiana zip codes 463xx-466xx).
In mid November, Josh West was appointed as our Key Account Manager covering Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
Also in November, David Randon was appointed as our Inside Sales Representative for the New England area, New York, Ohio, Western PA, Kentucky and West Virginia.
In October, Jason Demicoli was appointed as our Switches Product Line Manager for the Americas. Jason had been our International Product Manager for Motor Control products since 2009, working out of our R & D and Manufacturing Facility in Malta.
In late September, Marisa Williams was appointed as our Human Resources Manager.
Earlier in September, Alex Burkut was appointed as our Inside Sales Representative for Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico.
In July, Edgar Navarro was appointed as our Director of Operations and Engineering for the Americas.

In August, Pinnacle Marketing became our authorized Sales Representatives for North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi.

In September, we launched the IRC40 Series Inductive Proximity Sensors. Specifically designed as a durable solution for daily indoor and outdoor applications, it ensures accurate detection of actuating parts, such as skid conveyor positioning, step detection on escalators, and material positioning on conveyor systems. The IRC40 Series sensors are resistant to extreme operating conditions such as exposure to a wide range of temperatures and frequent high pressure washdown cycles. They offer flexible adjustment and adaptability for any application due to the 5-position sensing face. The sensors can be installed quickly without any tools, thanks to the push-lock system of the mounting bracket.

Recent Trade Shows and Events
Pack Expo International
In late October, CARLO GAVAZZI exhibited at Pack Expo International in Chicago. It is one of America's premier Packaging exhibitions, with crossover into the Food & Beverage and Conveying industries. Products showcased included our comprehensive range of solid state relays/contactors, proximity, photoelectric, and ultrasonic sensors, IO-Link sensors, IO-Link masters and smart IO-Link configurator, energy meters, monitoring relays, timers, contactors/overloads and miniature circuit protectors. There was a lot of interest in our solutions for Industry 4.0, and Ethernet-IP products at this year’s show.

AEE World Energy Conference and Expo
In late September, we showcased our Energy Metering and Gateway solutions at the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) World Energy Conference and Expo, which was held in Atlanta. We featured our full range of metering solutions for measurement and verification of energy. We are a global leader in Edge and Cloud energy management technology; therefore, we also showcased our UWP3.0 platform, which provides data as a certified solution for Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS platforms.

Summer Newsletter Winner
This past Summer, Jim Zelasny of Faber Industrial Technologies of Clifton, NJ emailed in the correct answer to our trivia question and won a JBL Charge 3 Wireless/Splashproof Bluetooth Speaker, and had his name randomly drawn from all the correct entrants.
