The employees of CARLO GAVAZZI would like to wish you a safe and happy holiday season. We will be closed on December 24th, 27th, 31st and January 3rd.

2021 has been a great sales year for us, although much like most of the manufacturing and distribution business sectors, we too had to, and continue to navigate through supply chain challenges.

It goes without saying, that our continued success wouldn't be possible without our dedicated employees, sales representatives, and distributors, as well as our loyal customers. Many thanks for your continued support; we have a lot of exciting things planned for 2022!

To celebrate the holiday season, and in appreciation for those of you that are serious about your newsletter reading, we’re holding a Trivia Contest for a CARLO GAVAZZI branded JBL Flip 5 Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker. You must correctly answer the trivia question at the end of the newsletter to be in the running!

Recently Released New Products

Over the course of the past several months we have released several exciting new products!

You can find a quick recap on new products from the past year here:

In August, we announced an expansion to our successful PD30 Photoelectric Sensor family with IO-Link. This new sensor series offers the most functionality in a single photoelectric sensor on the market. Endless configurations, preventative maintenance capabilities, and special application functions provide users with unparalleled and groundbreaking flexibility for their applications.

These new PD30 photoelectric sensors also introduce four special application functions pre-programmed into these sensors: Speed and Length, Pattern Recognition, Divider/Counter, and Object and Gap Monitoring functions. Each has been developed to optimize common industry applications through design simplification, flexible configurations, and ease of maintenance/troubleshooting.

In October, we launched our new E1-Rated ICS Series Inductive Proximity Sensors. Specifically designed for the challenging applications on mobile equipment, these sensors offer unrivaled performance focusing on reliable detection and reduced downtime.

E1-approved inductive sensors assure accurate and reliable detection of actuating parts such as hydraulic pistons, gear speed, crane position and movement on refuse vehicles, mobile cranes, concrete mixers, tractors, fire trucks, harvesting equipment, buses, forklifts, and more. These mobile platforms are typically exposed to high levels of shock and vibration from the terrain, exposure to salt and debris from the road and vehicle engine refuse gases, extreme voltage peaks if a battery is disconnected from the alternator, wide operating temperature ranges due to the environment and proximity to engines and exhaust systems, and electromagnetic interferences generated by radio transmitters.

In November, we launched our new SPMA Series Compact Low-Profile Switch Mode Power Supplies, which are merely 63mm (2.5”) deep.

Designed for industrial and building automation, the SPMA Series is a compact, low-profile DIN mount solution with 3 frame sizes from 17.5mm (15W) to 70mm (100W). With integrated diagnostics and protection, these products are ideal for applications that demand performance and reliability while maintaining very high efficiency. SPMA Power Supplies also come with 4kVac isolation voltage for use in electric vehicle charging stations.
