Upper Management Visit from CARLO GAVAZZI Automation SpA
On June 30th, Valeria Gavazzi, representing the majority shareholder Gavazzi family, and Vittorio Rossi, the newly appointed CEO of the Automation Components Business Unit, visited CARLO GAVAZZI's office in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

Eastec
CARLO GAVAZZI exhibited at the Eastec trade show in mid-May, which was held at the Eastern States Exposition Grounds in West Springfield, MA

International Garage Door Expo
In late April, Carlo Gavazzi exhibited at the IDA's International Garage Door Expo in Nashville, Tennessee. It was the premier trade show for the garage door industry. On display were our light curtains, radar sensors, our vast range of photoelectric sensors, inductive loop detectors, anemometers, and motor control solutions, including pushbutton/pilot devices, contactors, drives and soft starts.

AM Expo / ATX South Show
In mid-March, CARLO GAVAZZI exhibited at the AM Expo/ATX South Show which was held in Charlotte, North Carolina. AM Expo / ATX South is an automation technology show which is run in conjunction with SouthPack, Plant Engineering South, Green Manufacturing Expo, Design & Manufacturing South, Plastec South, PTX South, Powder & Bulk Solids Expo South and Metaltec trade shows.

ATX West
CARLO GAVAZZI recently exhibited at the ATX West Show, which was held in Anaheim, California in mid-February. ATX is an automation technology show which is run in conjuction with WestPack, Electronics West, Pacific Design and Manufacturing, Medical Design and Manufacturing, PTX West and Green Manufacturing Shows.

Pack Expo '08
CARLO GAVAZZI exhibited at Pack Expo, North America's premier packaging exhibition, which was held at Chicago's McCormick Place from November 9th-13th. Products showcased included the comprehensive range of solid state relays, proximity, photoelectric and ultrasonic sensors, variable frequency drives, safety products, contactors/overloads, current/voltage/phase monitoring modules and digital panel meters.

ISA Expo '08
Carlo Gavazzi exhibited at the ISA Expo, which was held at the Reliant Center in Houston, Texas in mid-October. It is one of the Gulf states’ most popular and well attended process and automation trade shows.

National Manufacturing Week
Carlo Gavazzi recently exhibited at the Assembly Technology Expo as part of the National Manufacturing Week Show, which was held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois in late September. It is one of this nation’s premier electrical, electronic, and motion automation shows.

NAEC's Elevator World Expo
In mid-September, Carlo Gavazzi exhibited at the NAEC's Elevator World Expo - a showcase for the North American elevator industry, which took place outside of Dallas, Texas. On display was our new elevator light curtain, as well as our broad range of three phase monitoring controls, sensors, limit switches, contactors, soft starts, drives, timers and relays.

Intersolar
CARLO GAVAZZI exhibited at the INTERSOLAR Show in mid July, which was held in San Francisco's Moscone Center. INTERSOLAR is one of the premier shows worldwide for solar energy, and this was the inaugural show in North America.

ISA Mexico 2008
In early June, CARLO GAVAZZI showcased our vast array of automation products at ISA Mexico 2008, Mexico’s most important automation, process and instrumentation trade show.

ATX East
CARLO GAVAZZI exhibited at ATX East in early June. ATX is an automation technology show run in conjunction with EastPack, Plastec East, Medical Design and Manufacturing and the Atlantic Design and Manufacturing Shows.

Car Care 2008
The Car Care Show was held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL from April 8 - 10. It is the premier trade show for the Car Wash and Detailing industry.

NAFEM Show
In mid-October Carlo Gavazzi exhibited at the National Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) Show Manufacturing Week Show, which was held at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. It is the annual event for commercial food equipment manufacturers.

2007 North American Sales Meeting
Carlo Gavazzi held their annual North American Sales Meeting earlier this year outside of Chicago. It was a racing theme: Kickin’ it into Overdrive!
Many of the products discussed at the meeting have either been launched, or will be launched in the coming months, and will certainly assist in kicking sales into overdrive as we transition into 2008.

CARLO GAVAZZI exhibited at NPE 2006, the plastic machinery industry's premier trade show, which takes place place every three years at Chicago’s McCormick Place from June 19th through 23rd.
