The PD180 features a battery-powered emitter, which greatly simplifies wiring and installation. Proving once again that Carlo Gavazzi is the premier manufacturer of sensors for the door and gate industries.

The new PD180 is loaded with features that make it an excellent first choice for many challenging applications:

Emitter uses two 3.6VDC lithium (AA)   batteries, with a life span of up to 2.5 years Receiver operates on 12-24VAC/DC for   universal installation flexibility UL325 approval guarantees high quality   for door and gate applications Selectable sensing range of 15 or 30   meters (49 or 99 feet) Lenses can be adjusted 200° horizontally   and ± 30° vertically for easy alignment,   even in difficult mounting situations SPST relay for sensing output Separate SPST relay for low battery   indication Mute input connection on emitter for   verifying proper sensor function Strong polycarbonate housing in an   attractive design

Thanks to the battery-powered emitter, it is not necessary to bury cables underground or under pavement. This greatly decreases the installation time, and dramatically reduces the installation cost. With its rugged housing, weatherproof gaskets, and IP55 outdoor rating, the PD180 stands up to the most challenging of environments. cUL and CE approvals assure a high quality and safe product.
